Displaying the current month

Hello,

I'm wondering how I can get the value of the current month into a cell. I have used the TODAY function to get the current date, how do I extract the month from this?

Hi Zohra,

Thank you for the question

If you use the today function you can then format the cells to return the month. To do this go into Format>Cells and go down to the option that says Custom. In the "Type" field enter mmmm and you will return the current month.
