I like this tool, but if data is on different worksheets hwo do you know which other worksheets are involved by name?

Thanks for getting in touch.

Once you've turned on Formula Auditing, you may see a dashed black line, indicating an 'external' reference. This means the reference goes off the current sheet.

To view this link, point your mouse at the line and double-click. The Go To dialogue will guide you to it's source.

Calculate age or service

The DATEDIF() function in Excel calculates the number of days, months, or years between two dates. So, this function makes it easy to calculate a person's age. To try this tip:

In a blank worksheet, type the birth date in cell A1, using slashes to separate day, month, and year.
In cell A2, type =DATEDIF(A1,TODAY(),"y") and press ENTER.
