Pivot table formatting

Hello

Is there a way to maintain the formatting of a pivot table when refreshing the data?

Each time I refresh, the column widths etc change but ideally I would like to set the formatting of the pivot table and ensure it's maintained after refresh.

Many thanks for your help

RE: Pivot table formatting

Hi Barbara

Thanks for getting in touch.

This is something a lot of people ask, and Microsoft have made a good job of hiding the option away!

With the PivotTable selected, go to the PivotTable tab marked Options on the ribbon, then on the left click the Options button. On the Layout & Format tab uncheck "Autofit column widths on update".

That should fix it. When you refresh the column widths should stay as you left them.

Kind regards
