Graphics

how is it possible to add in animated graphics

RE: Graphics

Hi Joshi,

There are many types of graphics you can have on a web page.

Animation can include a graphic format such as GIF, which can contain animation. You can also insert a Flash movie element, or video such as AVI or Quicktime.

Dreamweaver can help you insert all of these elements, just go to the Insert menu and follow the prompts.

You can also use Javascript and DIV layers to move static graphics around, but this is fairly old school.

Thanks for posting a question. If we can be of further assistance, please reply to this post. Otherwise, please mark the question as resolved.

Regards, Rich

Dreamweaver tip:

Testing a site

When developing a site, you have to cater to the widest possible audience allowing for users with different browsers and display settings.
Test pages to see how they look with:

- different display resolutions
- browser with graphics turned off
- many different browsers not just IE
- if possible different operating systems.
