Lists - Data - Text to Columns

Is it possible to separate the vintage (year) from the following example: Ch. Mouton Rothschild 1982 if stored in one column?

RE: Lists - Data - Text to Columns

Hello Caroline,

Not sure if this will suffice, but in the cell that you want the year, you could type (eg. if the full name is in cell A1),

In B1 type
=RIGHT(A1,4)

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.

Thanks Mark, this works but the year still appears in column A. Still, it is an improvement on cutting and pasting a very long list! Best wishes, Caroline
