Excel - Sort By

Hi,
Is there a way of "undoing" a "sort by" function once the file has been saved with the "sort by" on? One of the files my team is working on has multiple columns and sections in it. Now someone has used the "sort by" in one of the columns and all the data in other columns is in incorrect places.

RE: Excel - Sort By

Hi Inka

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately I'm not aware of a feature that would do this. Do you think it might be possible to see how far one record is out of alignment and then use this information to adjust the positions of the remaining cells to restore your data?
Thanks,
Andrew

Excel tip:

Adding Rows or Columns in an Excel 2010 Worksheet

If you want to add a row to an Excel spreadsheet, these are the simple steps you should take:

With your mouse, right click on the row header below where you want the new row to be added. Then, click Insert.

Follow exactly the same steps if you want to add a column to an Excel worksheet, right click on the column header, choose Insert and the new column will be inserted to the left of the selected column.
