my question is can you attach files too excel as a hyperlink but the file ive attached stays with the program instead off being a shortcut .

Do you mean sending an excel file from your machine by email to another person in another company by using hyperlink text?
If this is true, then you would need to attach the file in the traditional way.

no i mean if you have a spreadsheet and you wanted to attach for instance a word document to a piece of information on the spreadsheet so it would better an argument instead of just typing the info on excel i wanted to attach the original file to the task but dont worry i didnt bother in the end
