What does the "sounds like" option do in the find/replace tab (under more).

Thank you for your question regarding Find and Search in Word.
The Sounds like is useful should your spelling not be too good! If your document contains the word Fish, and your not sure how it's spelt!!! then by typing something that sounds like.. will find it. e.g. typing in phish will find Fish!
