What does the "sounds like" option do in the find/replace tab (under more).

RE: Word

Hello Jeremy,

Thank you for your question regarding Find and Search in Word.

The Sounds like is useful should your spelling not be too good! If your document contains the word Fish, and your not sure how it's spelt!!! then by typing something that sounds like.. will find it. e.g. typing in phish will find Fish!

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Mark

Microsoft Office tip:

Switching Between Applications

When you are working with several applications at once, use the Alt+Tab key combination to switch between them. Keep the Alt key down and stab the Tab key until you reach the correct package, then release Alt.
