How do you add a baseline

RE: Baseline

Hello Ben,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Project Intro Intermediate course with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding adding a baseline to a project. Change views to the 'Tracking Gantt' view and then click 'Tools' menu > 'Tracking' > 'Set Baseline'. In the dialogue box accept the defaults if you are setting the baseline for the first time and click OK. This action will create a second set of bars under the current bars with the same start and finish dates.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Rodney

MS Project tip:

Typing Links Between Tasks

In the Entry table, use the Precessors column to type in links. Type the previous task's ID to link. To change the link, add FS (Finish-Start), FF (Finish-Finish), and so on, and + duration to add a Lag, or - duration for a Lead time. Example: for task 5, 4FS+1w ... task 4 preceeds task 5, finish to start, with a week lag between.
