Creating a slide master template
In one slide I have 3 place holders for images and under them I want to add a text box for people to add the company name which relates to one of our clients.
How do creat a custome "click here to add company" or "Click here to add name and title"?
RE: Creating a slide master template
You need to create this slide in slide master view by going into slide master view
Click on Insert Layout - that will give you a new layout you can work on. You can delete the placeholders.
In the master layout view click on Insert Placeholder to insert new placeholders from this slide
For the text placeholders type your custom content eg Click here to add company
Right click on your custom slide in master view and select rename layout give it a name.
Exit master view and go to the home ribbon. Click on the word new slide or arrow to list all the layouts available to this slide. Your layout should be listed. YOU MUST NOW SAVE IT AS A POWERPOINT TEMPLATE. Click the Office button select Save As and from the type box below select powerpoint template pptx
Hope that helps.
