Naming ranges

I am having difficulty replacing formulas with names. I have defined the name and they show in the box but when i go to apply the named range it says it can't find a reference. can you help?

RE: Naming ranges

I suggest creating a new formula, from scratch, using the actual range, and then using the apply command to see if you can get it to work.

Another step could be to check that the original formula contains exactly the same range as the named range.

Excel tip:

No Zeros

Want all the zeros in your worksheet to appear blank? Choose Tools/Options, Click on the View Tab, Deselect the Zero Values Option, Click OK.
Easy wasn't it? But be aware that these cells are not actually blank, they still contain the value zero. This is important because certain functions (ie AVERAGE) make a distinction between blank cells and those with a zero value.
