Where would I go to change the background colour on the entire slide show?

Hi Rob, thanks for your query. Best place to change the background colour is on the slide master - right click on some onto the slide (not on any object) then select background. Setting this on the slide master is best practice, although you can achieved the same effect by doing the same on a normal slide and selecting "Apply to All".

To copy an object on your page

To copy an object on your page quickly and easily instead of using cut & paste, try this instead.

Select the object you want to copy by clicking on it.

Hold down the "CTRL" key on the keyboard.

Click (with the left mouse button) and drag the object to the new position. Simple & quick.

Now try it again but press the "Shift" key at the same time as the CTRL key, this will keep the objects aligned. Great for making diagrams etc.
