what is the slide master used for ?
RE: powerpoint
Hi Edward, thanks for the query. The slide master is used to house any repeating elements such as background images, logos, or bullet levels and structure that crop up in a presentation. Essentiallly, if you have a 400 slide presentation you put the company logo on the slide master instead of inserting it manually on each slide. Therefore, if the logo or any other repeating element changes, you can replace it just on the slide master and the entire presentation will be updated.
Hope this helps,
Anthony

PowerPoint tip:Another way to reduce PowerPoint file sizesA very quick and easy way to reduce the size of a PowerPoint file (particularly if it contains many images and/or objects) make the first slide in the presentation a blank slide (using slide layouts). |
