What are de Bono's 6 Action Shoes?

RE: 6 Action Shoes

Hi John

Thank you for your question. 6 Action shoes follows Edward de Bono's 6 Thinking Hats and puts the emphasis on action or operacy rather than exclusively on thinking. The six shoes are:

Navy formal shoes - routines and procedures
Grey sneakers - exploration, investigation and gathering evidence
Brown brogues - practical and pragmatic
Orange gumboots - danger and emergency action
Pink slippers - care, compassion and consideration of human feelings and sensitivities
Purple riding boots - authority and command

An interesting enhancement on 6 Thinking Hats is that the shoes can be combined.

I hope this is helpful - good luck and best wishes,

Andrew

Microsoft Office tip:

Short cut tips

Instead of just seeing the default setting of screentip names, when you place the mouse pointer over the toolbar, you can also see the keyboard short cut for accessing the button as well.

To this click on Tools, Customise, options tab.

Under Other you will see the option of Show shortkeys in screentip
