How does the formulas work on excel?

RE: Formulas

Dear Naseema

Thank you for attending Excel Intermediate course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

Excel can be used to perform various formulae so I am not sure if you have any specific formula in mind or are you asking this as a general question.

If you want to know about the calculation order in Excel then please note that it follows the BODMAS.

Please refer to the following link where I have answered this question in my previous post.:

https://www.stl-training.co.uk/post-17490-formula.html

Please note that you can search the forum and type the keyword to see other questions that other delegates might have asked relating to the topic that you may need help with.

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards

Excel tip:

Recently used file list

Under the File menu, you may find a list of files at the bottom of the menu. These files represent the most recently used Excel spreadsheets. This file list provides a quick way for you to access your files.

You can disable the file list feature of Excel. This is done by

1. Choose Tools > Options menu. You will see the Options dialog box.
2. Ensure the General tab is selected.
3. Make sure the Recently Used File List check box is cleared.
4. Click on OK.
