Sharepoint Outlook Contacts - Default View

Hello,

I am trying to create a default view for Sharepoint lists>contacts for users using Outlook 2007
It currently imports and has a default view of: "File as","Company" etc
I want it to come up in a different order and hide certain columns.
We have 100 users, and i don't want to go around every single one to set sharing contacts from Sharepoint up and then changing the view on each one to show what we need.

I've tried copying the Sharepoint Lists.pst file and that got us as far as having the view.
But then its not synchronizing with Sharepoint or other peoples sharepoint so that's no use.

Does anyone know a way of doing this?
Sorry if this isn't clear, its hard to explain.

Thanks,
Nick

RE: Sharepoint Outlook Contacts - Default View

Hi Nick

Thanks for your post about Sharepoint contacts for Outlook 2007 clients.

From what you are outlining it could be a be 10 minutes response from a suitably experienced trainer or it may well result in more involved work.

I shall raise with one our sharepoint trainers and see if they have any initial ideas but this does fall out of the scope of our standard forum support, but we can see what we can do in this circumstance.

regards

Jacob
