Hiding rows

If rows are hidden, but you want the reader reviewing the spreadsheet to be able to click on a button to see the details of the rows that were hidden, how this be done?

RE: Hiding rows

Hello Luisa
Thank you for your question

I would suggest you record a macro. Start with all the rows hidden and while recording, unhide all the rows. Stop recording and attach the macro to a button which says Unhide. You could also record a macro which hides all the rows and have another button to hide the rows. The simple macro recorder is under tools, macro, record new macro.

If this resolves your question, please mark it as resolved. If not, please reply with more information.

Kind regards
Cress

Excel tip:

Use the Ctrl-key for quick navigation in Excel 2010

If you want to move quickly to the right, left, top or bottom of your spreadsheet, just press Ctrl and one of the arrow keys. If you want to then select all the data in that particular row or column, hold down the Shift key and press Ctrl and an arrow key.
