Merging excel into database

How do you merge excel data into a database?

RE: Merging excel into database

Hi Corinne,

Thanks for the question,

You can import data from excel into Access by choosing the option "Create a table by entering data, double click on that so you get an empty page.

Then go File > Get external data > Import data, then a browse option comes up for you to find your spreadsheet and you follow the wizard thereafter.

Good luck

Tracy

Access tip:

Remove spaces in a table

If you have a table that has too many space marks littered around, you can create a update query and use the trim function to get rid of any excess space marks
