WHY ARE THEY USEFUL, WHAT IS THE POINT OF THEM

Hi Michelle

Thanks for your post hope you enjoyed the course yesterday

The reason for using Macros it for time saving and to assist you, your company and other users

If you doing things on a regular basis that are repetative then you can create a macro and record the process of tasks so that you can run that task anytime you need them

Also these are used in templates to assist the company and users and to reduce time and errors

Word tip:

Changing text to subscript

If you are working with text and numbers and want to convert the chemical symbol for water H20 so that the 2 is lowered, you can highlight the number 2, click on Format-text and check on the Subscript box
