How do you update an old document globally with a new style without having to go through each and every paragraph of say a 50 page document?

RE: Styles

Hi Edward

Thanks for the post - sorry for the late reply

the best way to do this would be by opening the document then creating the new style and as you are doing this remember to click the box for update automatically NB there are other boxes there that may assist you further when you are done creating you will have to apply this through the document

The second way to do this is by managing styles and importing the styles from the old version to the new version
then doing the update automatically and change the style this will change the document you are in on a global scale

If you need further clafication on this method just reply to this post
