Margin setting in tables

please send instructions on margin and indent setting when creating tables

RE: Margin setting in tables

Hi Dilip,

Thank you for your question.

When you create a table you can change the indents of where the text begins and end by using the paragraph markers on the ruler. Select some text and you can change the Left Indent, Hanging Indent and the First Line indents.

You can also use the Cell margins box on the Table Tools Tab and Layout option. In this box you can change the Top, Bottom, Left and right margin for the selected cell.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Word tip:

Find out what formatting has been used quickly

You can quickly find out what formatting (text, paragraph and section) has been applied to any text or paragraph in your document simply by going to Format - Reveal Formatting on the menu bar. The shortcut keys for this are Shift + F1.

You can use Reveal Formatting to compare the formatting applied to two different paragraphs or pieces of text as well.
