Could you please tell me where I can find the pre set templates

RE: Templates

Hello Angie

Thank you for your question.

You can find the preset templates in the 2003 version of Word (and Excel) by going File - New; then clicking the 'From my computer' link under the Templates section of the task pane which appears on the right hand side of your screen.

Select the appropriate tab (e.g. Letters and Faxes), select the desired template and OK.

I hope this helps.

Word tip:

Changing default folder location for opening and saving

If you are always opening documents from and/or saving documents to a specific location that is not My Documents, save time by setting this folder as the default for opening files from and saving files to.

Here's how:
1. Go to Tools - Options.

2. Select the File Locations tab.

3. Under File Types, select Documents.

4. Use the Modify dialogue box that appears on your screen to navigate to the folder you wish to set as your default.

5. Select the folder, click OK, and click OK again.

You have now changed the default folder for opening and saving documents.
