Macros

How do they work?

RE: Macros

Dear Grant

Thank you for attending Excel Advanced course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

When you find yourself doing repeated tasks you can record Macros which are sets of commands that Excel records for you. Excel can then run them as many times as you would like hence saving you time!!

You can record Macros for any group of related actions. Some examples include Formatting or Page set-up macros. You can record certain functions ( such as PMT function we did in the course). While recording macros you can assign short cut key or you can even attach them to a button the quick access toolbar.

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards
