Macros

What is Macro? When do we need to use this?

RE: Macros

Hello Lily

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

A macro is a procedure that has been automated. If there is a task that you perform in Word quite often that involves you going through a number of steps to achieve, you can record yourself going through the steps, and then play these steps to achieve the end result automatically for you in future.

Macros are covered as part of our Word Advanced course.

Kind regards
Amanda
