Spread sheets

how do you enter a row into a worksheet

RE: spread sheets

Hi Angie!
I saw your post - if you right click on the left hand side of the screen (where the row numbers are) it will give you the option to 'insert' and if you click it, it will insert a row above the one you are on.
Hope that helps!
Nancy

RE: spread sheets - Inserting and deleting rows and columns

Dear Angie

Thank for attending Excel Intermediate course. I hope you enjoyed the course.

Thank you Nancy for answering the question. I must say you are Spot on!!:)

Please remember that the new row gets inserted above the selected row and a new column gets inserted on the left hand side of the selected column.

Other ways of inserting new rows are:

Select the row and choose Edit > Insert from the menu bar

Or Select the row or column and use the short cut key CTRL + SHIFT+ =

In order to delete a row or column you can use the shortcut key CTRL + - (minus)

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards

Excel tip:

Viewing Many Worksheets

If there are more worksheets in your workbook than there is room to show all their tabs at the bottom of the screen - Right click on the navigation arrows. A list of all your worksheets is shown. You just click on the one that you want to access. If you have more than 15 worksheets, select in the list and choose your worksheet from hundreds.
