Is it possible to copy and paste comments into other cells instead of having to retype them?

RE: Comments - copying and pasting!!

Dear Shelley

Thank you for attending Excel Intermediate course. I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

It is possbile to copy the cell that has comment on and paste it to blank cell and the comment will get pasted along with the comments.

But if you want to paste only the comments on the cells that already have data then choose the cell taht has the comment you wish to copy.

Select all the cells that you wish to paste the comments

Right-click on any selecetd cell

Choose paste Special...

Choose Comments from the available options and press OK.

All the cells that you selected will have only the comments pasted.

I hope this helps in answering your query.

Please mark this post as resolved.

Many thanks

Kindest Regards
