What is the best way to change dates on an existing project plan

RE: Updating

Hi Narinder

A good way to change dates on your tasks, especially if you have saved a baseline is to select your task then go to Tools > Tracking > update tasks and record what really happened (actual start or finish). Alternatively if the task is not yet complete but needs to be rescheduled you could try either adding a partial constraint (start no earlier than) to the task so it falls on the correct date or extend the lag on its predecessor relationship.

Hope this helps - do let us know if we can assist further.

Kind regards,

Andrew
