How are you today and thankyou for your post
the quickest way of inserting a pie chart is as follows:
highlight the cells for the pie, then press F11 on your keyboard, if you then want this a an object for your sheet, go to the chart menu and click location and choose as object in
then go back to the chart menu and click chart type, pick the pie chart type you want and click OK
You could also go to the insert chart button and click the PIe type then click FINISH
Both should do the trick, but for quick chart insertion remember F11
