Would i need VB to create a form that has 3D text boxes for input? As within the setup on microsoft products, jut to create a proffesional feel.

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
It will depend on the exact effect you are after, although with text controls you put on forms, you can enter the Properties for the control and adjust the formatting/effects for that control. For example, there is a Special Effect option when you go into Properties that allows you to select from (amongst others) Raised, Sunken and Shadow options.
