Charts

I always end up with multiple pie charts. For example, I want to show the breakdown of our customers by age and then by hobby. Is it possible to have pie pieces with subsections?

RE: charts

Hello Meredith,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Excel course with BEST Training.
Thank you for your question regarding Charts.

Pie charts are fairly limited in their ability to contain anything more than one series of data.

You might consider using a pie chart combined with a secondary pie or column chart, or alternatively exploring a doughnut chart, which can contain more than one series.

For your reference, I suggest you review the following artile from Microsoft and see if it is helpful.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.

Display Formulas Instead of Results in Excel 2010

By pressing Ctrl ~ once, Excel will display formulas rather than the results of the formulas. Press it again, and the results will appear again.
