Linking Worksheets

How do you link worksheets? Once you have opened 2 worksheets are they automatically linked or is there a formula that needs to be used?

RE: Linking Worksheets

Worksheets are not automatically linked.

To add cells on different sheets you would use the formula:

=A1+Sheet2!B1

Where "Sheet2" is the name of the worksheet
Separated with a !

Simply create the formual like you normall would, but click on the relevant sheets and cells as you create the formula.

Excel tip:

Multiple Lines of Text in a Cell

As an alternative to the Text Wrapping facility, type a word or two, press Alt+Enter to get a new line, type more text, and continue the process for as many lines as you need. Enter as normal when you have finished.

The line break is not affected by changing the column width, as text wrapping. To remove this you must edit the cell and remove the invisible character and replace with a normal space.
