Pie chart

I have constructed a 3-D pie chart and I want to change the size of the pie in relation to the title etc. However, when I 'drag' the pie it just splits into the different segments rather than just getting bigger. Is there a way round this?

RE: pie chart

Hi Kevin

Thanks for your question.

The part of the chart that you need to select to resize the actual pie is the Plot Area. If you bring up the Chart toolbar on your screen, then you can select the Plot Area from the dropdown list of the chart elements on the left of the toolbar.

This should bring up a sort of greyish square around the pie chart itself - drag from one of the corners of this square to resize the chart.

I hope this helps - please reply if you need further help with this.

thanks
Amanda

Kevin

There is a box that touches the edges of the pie chart itself. You can use this to change the size of the pie only. To select it, click very close towards the top right edge of the pie.

Let me know if you get it.

Richard
