Macros

can you tell me again how to assign a macro

RE: macros

Hi Khaleda, Thank you for your post, welcome to the forum, in answer to your question,
As you have attended the Advanced Course I am going to assume you want to assign the macro to a button embedded on your worksheet; follow these steps;
1. Create your macro as required
2. Menu command View>Toolbars>Forms, the Forms toolbar will open
3. Click on the Button and then draw a rectangle on your worksheet
4. The Assign Macro dialog box will open; make your choice from the list of available macros and click OK.
You can then format your button as required changing text etc.
Note: once you have clicked away from the button, left clicking on it will activate the macro, to format the button from this point you must right-click on it. I hope that has helped, best regards Pete

Excel tip:

Customize the toolbar in Excel 2010

You can create your own toolbar which contains your favourite or most used tools. This will make using Excel much more efficient. To do this, you need to click on View, then select Customize Quick access Toolbars and then select Customize. A list of tools will then appear on the screen of which you can add or remove them as you please.
