How does a watch window help with 3D formulas?
RE: 3-D Formulas and Add watch window
Dear Sangita
Thank you for attending Excel Intermediate course. I hope the training was enjoyable as well as useful to you.
Add watch window is a feature of Excel that is useful when you have cells with formulae or functions and you want to view the results by changing the cell contents without having to look around for the cell that contain the formulae/Functions.
This is particularly useful when you have 3-D formulae (formulae or function based of different sheets).
Once you have created the formula or function the worksheets get linked to each other .i.e. if you make any changes to the values of the cells in the worksheets then the cells that contain the formulae or functions get automatically updated. Add watch Window will help you to view the new result of the sheet that contains the calculations without you switching between the sheets to see the results.
I hope this helps.
If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!
Kindest Regards
