how do I do a date format swith

RE: Mailmerge formatting

Hi M, welcome to the forum, thank you for your post. In answer to your question which I must assume is to do with date formatting in Word;
Word allows for many different types of date format, inside tables and in the main text area.
To format the date within both areas follow these steps; Use the menu command Insert>Date and Time and choose from the different options presented in the dialog box. At this point you can also choose to have the date update automatically each time the document is opened.
I hope that helps, best regards Pete

Word tip:

Insert Screen Clips in Word 2010

You can insert screen captures easily into a Word 2010 document by selecting Screenshot from the Insert tab. This launches a gallery of windows currently open and you can click one to insert an image of the window into your document. When you press Enter, the screen capture gets inserted automatically.
