Tabs

If you have a page with bullets on and then you just want a text paragraph, if the sentence is more than one line long the text on the next line indents. How do you overcome this?

RE: Powerpoint

Hello Kate,
I hope you enjoyed your Excel training session with us.

In response to your question, this happens because your indent settings are positioned for second line indenting. To change the settings, first show your Ruler (View > Ruler). When the ruler comes up, you will see all the tab and indent stops that are at play in your paragraph. The indent stop is on the bottom of the ruler, and looks like a block with a triangle on top of it. Click and drag the indent stop to the left, to match up with the first-line indent (looks like an upside down triangle). For more information on tab and indent settings, here's a link to the Microsoft website: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HP030741151033.aspx

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved. If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. And please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Have a great day.

Regards,
Mara
