Excel - Macros

I have recorded a macro but neglected to assign a shortcut key. I would now like to do this, is there something I can add to tne VBA coding to do this.

RE: Excel - Macros

Hello Tom,
I hope you enjoyed your Excel training session with us.

To answer your question, it actually isn't even necessary to alter the VBA to change your keyboard shortcut on your macro. To create or edit the shortcut, go to Tools > Macro > Macros. Find the macro you want to assign the shortcut to, and click options. Here, you can change the shortcut.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved. If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. And please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Have a great day.

Excel tip:

Use Paint Brush to Format More than one Cell

To copy a format to many cells or ranges

1. Select the cell with the format that you want to copy

2. Double-click on the paint brush

When you move to the cell where you want to paste the format you will notice that a paint brush follows the cursor.

Paste the format to all the cells or ranges you need to format.

When finished go back to the paint brush on the tool bar and single click on it to deactivate the function.
