Pool Resources

Can i create multople pools for different projects?

RE: Pool Resources

Hi Sonia

Thank you for the question

Am I right in thinking that you want to have a number of different resource pools, with each project choosing one of the resource pools to obtain its resources?

If so, then there is no problem. Simply create your resource pools and then link each project to its pool by clicking on tools-resource sharing- share resources. You then choose the relevant pool from the combo box. Note that the resource pool file must be open for you to be able to link to it.

Regards

Stephen

MS Project tip:

Compare Work and Duration

Duration is the timescale within which a task is done; Work is the specific time element used. For example, 3 days work in a duration of 2 weeks. To compare, add the Work field into the Entry table by right clicking a column heading to Add Field.
