Change Working time - adding, deleting or renaming calendars

How do you delete or rename calendars once you have created new ones under the 'Change working time' button under 'Tools'?

RE: Change Working time - adding, deleting or renaming calendars

Hi Steve

Thankyou for your question. If you click on Tools-Organiser and select the calendars tab you will be given a complete list of the calendars in both the current project and the global tremplate.

You can then delete and rename the calendars as required. You can also copy calendars from the current project to the global template, thus making them available for all future projects created on that machine.

Hope this is useful

Regards

Stephen

MS Project tip:

a. In Project, click on the File tab
b. Select Options from left hand side
c. Click on Schedule to set the scheduling options
d. Set the Default Task type box to your chosen option
i. Generally if you plan/estimate your projects using durations you should use fixed duration, and untick the box New tasks are effort driven, if you plan/estimate with person hours use fixed work, or for plans estimated with the proportion of resources time use fixed units, and untick the box New tasks are effort driven)
