How do I link a contents page to the corresponding parts of the document?

RE: Bookmark

Dear Angela

Thank you for attending PowerPoint Introduction course. I hope you enjoyed the training.

The question you asked is an interesting one. You have mentioned two things in your post. Bookmarks and also Contents (I assume by this you mean Table Of content).

Please bear in mind that when you create a Table of contents by default the links are already created. You simply have to keep the CTRL button pressed while you click on the specific Topic on the Table of Content.

If you need help to create Table of Contents then please follows these steps:

Table of contents depends on the Styles such as [b]Heading 1, Heading 2 , etc

RE: Bookmark

Dear Amy

Please refer to this Uploaded Word Doc which contains Table of contents. This will hopefully help you to understand my previous post better.

Please notice that I have changed various heading to either Heading 1, 2 or 3.

Kindest Regards

Word tip:

Undo Autoformt Features

Later Microsoft Word versions have auto-formatting features. But, we don't always want our Web addresses hyperlinked; we do not always want our spelling corrected.

Select from the menu, Tools > AutoCorrect options from the drop-down list to toggle these features, You will be able to tweak Word's settings to your liking from the dialog that pops up. However, if you'd rather keep the automatic features turned on, you can easily undo an auto-format immediately after it has been applied.

For example when typing and Word creates an automatic hyperlink, just hit backspace as soon as Word makes the automatic change. It will revert back to your original string. You can also use the undo feature (CTRL+Z).
