How do I save a presentation to a word document?

RE: Powerpoint

Hi Paul

hope you are well

there is an easy way to to save a presentation as a word doc but this depends on how you want this to look in word i.e. with blank lines under slides or with blank lines beside your slides, and you can also link your files together because you will have a linking option.

This is how you save your presentation as a word document,
firstly make sure you save your PowerPoint file because this can go wrong so this is the safest bet, then go to the file menu, and choose the send to option, then click Word, you will then see a window with the options i mentioned above. Choose which one you will need i would recommend you link to file then click OK

When this all appears in Word then save your word file

PowerPoint tip:

Ways to make exact copies of shapes

There are several ways of making exact copies (duplicates) of shapes you have already drawn in PowerPoint:

1. Use Copy and Paste.

2. Select the shape you wish to duplicate and use Ctrl + D.

3. Select the shape to be duplicated, then hold down the Ctrl key while you drag to the position where you want the duplicate shape to appear.
