How do you make the columns total

RE: Formulas

Hi Kim

Sorry we have not got back to you sooner hope you are well, there many ways to sum up figures all you would need to do is either type up a formula for example
in the blank cell under the figures: =b3+b4+b5+b6+b7 and press enter or you could also try any of the following

You could type the following formula as follows using the cell references that you need: =sum(b3:b7) in the blank cell where you answer needs to go, or you could clink on the blank cell the go to the AUTOSUM toolbar button which looks like this ∑ you can also do other formulas such as average, min and max by replace the word SUM with arevage which would look like this =average(b3:b7)

hope this helps

Excel tip:

How to apply the same formatting and data to multiple sheets at the same time in Excel 2010

When you want to format more than one sheet in a worksheet exactly the same way, Ctrl-click the tabs of the sheets you want to group together and they will all turn white. While they are grouped, anything you enter in one sheet gets entered into the others.

After you have done this, remember to click on the tabs to take them out of the group so that you do not accidentally insert data in multiple sheets when you just want to insert data in one.
