How do you easily change colours of backgrounds and brushes?

Hi Clare,

Personally I use the colour selector. On a PC, left clicking selects a foreground colour, right clicking selects a background colour.

Another tip to try (doesn't work in all versions) is to hold down Control and click somewhere on your image. The colour should be copied to your current palette, depending on which mouse button you click.
