is there any way of improving the quality of a picture imported into powerpoint?

Hi Simon

Picture quality generally decreases if you enlarge the image, so that it becomes larger than the original image. I would make sure that you are not change the size of the picture within PowerPoint. Also it may be worth checking to see if your image has been compressed, if it has then I suggest going back to the original image and working from that.
