ResolvedVersion Standard

Sarah has attended:
Excel Intermediate course

Excel 2007

Is Excel 2007 very similar to the earlier versions?

RE: Excel 2007

Hi Sarah, Thanks for the post, the major difference between 2007 and previous versions is the desktop view, this has been completly changed, and now offers "ribbons" rather than toolbars and menus. Functionality has not changed too much though Functions and Formulas are still the same, although many more rows and columns are now available to you. If you dont have 2007, not visit the Microsoft Office website and have a look at the examples there. (http://office.microsoft.com/training)

Excel tip:

Using Excel's MODE function

Use Excel's MODE function to display the most common value present in a particular range of cells.

The Mode function looks like this:

=MODE(cell range)

As an example, if 35 is the most commonly recurring number in a particular cell range, then the function will display 35.
