Pivot table

Would this be resolved by selecting the columns all the way to the bottom of the spreadsheet, as your data source for the pivot table? The blank rows will show up with the field heading (blank) in the pivot table, but you could hide this row or column if necessary.

I don't know if this will help but that's my suggestion.
