How do I format headers in tables that span over more than one page so the header reappears on each page?

RE: Excel

Hi Dorte

Thank you for your question.

I take it that you want your headings to appear at the top or side of each page when you print the spreadsheet.

If so, you can use something called Print titles to do this. You will find Print titles in File - Page Setup - Sheet.

This will allow to you select Rows to repeat at top or Columns to repeat at left of each page when it is printed. All you need to do is click in the appropriate box (for Rows or Columns) and select the rows you want repeat at the top of each page or columns you want repeated at the left of each page.

Excel tip:

Turn off AutoComplete in Excel

You may have noticed when typing into your spreadsheets that if you start to enter labels that begin with the same letters as a label that has been previously entered in the same spreadsheet, Excel will try and automatically complete the text for you. This feature is called AutoComplete.

If you find this feature more annoying than useful, you can turn it off by:

1. Going to Tools - Options.

2. Select the Edit tab.

3. Remove the tick from next to the "Enable AutoComplete for cell values" option.

4. Click OK.
