Copilot

I have been trying to use Copilot with Excel, specifically trying to get it to populate blank cells in reports from websites and match against data in our website.

For example I have a list of our members with website addresses but without phone numbers, I want to scrape the phone number from their websites. It understands this and sets about doing it, the unfortunate thing is that although it starts, often asking me to wait, it only delivers about 10, 20 if i push it. I don't want to have to start chunking it up.

Similarly, I have list of Company Partners I want to match against our online listing for accuracy. It only does about 10 and then gives up, is there a solution to this?

RE: Copilot

Unfortunately the solution to your problem may not be Copilot, but Power Query. It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong if it is able to find some of them. As it is conversational, you can always try to explain to it the error and for it to try again more in depth or to find others. But if that is still not bringing you back the data that you need, then that is just a limitation of the current build of copilot.

Power Query is designed to be able to extract data out of unusual sources like websites. Copilot could even help you with that by taking you through the steps to accomplish it.
