Imbed You Tube videos

Hi

Is there a way to imbed You Tube videos into a PowerPoint presentation without getting the ads come up?

RE: Imbed You Tube videos

Hi Diana,

Thank you for the forum question.

Here are a few ways to embed YouTube videos into a PowerPoint presentation without ads:

Use a Third-Party Tool: Tools like iSpring Suite or other video downloaders can help you download the YouTube video and then embed it directly into your PowerPoint. This way, the video plays offline without ads.

YouTube Premium: If you have a YouTube Premium subscription, you can download videos ad-free and then embed them into your presentation.

Edit the URL: You can modify the YouTube URL to remove ads. For example, adding -nocookie to the URL (e.g., https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/VIDEO_ID ) can help reduce tracking and ads.

Embed Using Google Slides: Embed the YouTube video in Google Slides first, then import the Google Slides into PowerPoint. This method can sometimes bypass ads.

PowerPoint tip:

Removing custom dictionary entries

If you add something to the custom dictionary in powerpoint you cannot remove it. The way to get around this is to go into word and remove it there.
