Pivot tables

How can we make sure that two different pivot tables with same data sources are matching after we sorted the date from largest to smallest.

RE: Pivot tables

Hi Hayrican,

Thank you for the forum question.

Please find attached Excel file. In the file you can find different solutions.

You can use Conditional Formatting to highlight if the number match or a number of functions.

If you want to use a function, you may need to turn off the Getpivotdata function.

You can turn this feature off by selecting any cell within an existing PivotTable, then go to the PivotTable Analyze tab > PivotTable > Options > Uncheck the Generate GetPivotData option.

Excel tip:

Display Functions on Worksheets

Functions in Excel can be difficult to recall their format/syntax

For example, you want to use the =PMT function.

Enter =PMT, then select keystroke, CTRL+SHIFT+A.

This usful memory jog, will display the arguments of a function on a worksheet, allowing the user to proceed with the generation of the function
